This year's Moldova Digital Summit brought together a strong lineup of regional and international voices. Alongside the plenary sessions and main stage discussions, a parallel track, designed and coordinated by Startup Moldova, focused on what drives innovation at its roots: the startups.
Over three days, founders were given space to present, pitch, connect, and learn, all through dedicated formats aimed at increasing visibility, relevance, and access to resources.
Through dedicated spaces and program elements, the summit highlighted the strength of Moldova's startup ecosystem and the support mechanisms behind it.
Startup Alley
One of the busiest corners of the summit venue was Startup Alley. Throughout the event, 24 startups showcased their products and technologies, engaging with corporate leaders, policy-makers, and fellow founders. The atmosphere was pragmatic and focused: founders used the space to demonstrate how their solutions work, explore interest from potential partners, and spark conversations with those who could help scale their next step.
From Al to healthtech, fintech to smart logistics, the variety on display reflected the steady diversification of Moldova's tech ecosystem. The focus was on product visibility, peer learning, and initial contact-building within a high-traffic zone of the venue.
Participants included:
Easyreserv.io, Brizy, Play All Sports, gardy.me, ROCMAN, Cardneto, Fagura, Aichat.md, ISHIP - All-in-one shipment app, Gems Around, ITfintech, CALL CENTER SOLUTIONS SRL, omnis, LexChain, PenEngineering, Pharmzenith, Pinky CyberSafe, Fineguide.Al, and Prodius Enterprise.
Pitching Sessions
While Startup Alley offered constant visibility, the main stage brought another kind of presence. On the first two days of the summit, eight startups were selected to pitch in front of a broad audience of investors, public officials, corporate representatives, and fellow entrepreneurs, sharing what they're building, what problems they're solving, and where they're headed next.
The pitches reflected a wide range of solutions and sectors: from fintech and cybersecurity to Al-powered tools. The founders on stage showed ambition, technical grounding, and the ability to present their work with clarity, skills essential not only for funding, but also for market entry and stakeholder alignment.
These sessions served as both exposure and validation, reinforcing the role of Moldova's founders in shaping a more digital and globally connected economy.
Startups that pitched:
Brizy, Fagura, Bloomcoding, Pinky CyberSafe, LexChain, aichat.md, EasyReserv.io, NodeShift
Workshop on Sovereign AI
Alongside product showcases and pitching, the summit also opened space for deeper reflection. One of the key technical sessions focused on digital sovereignty in AI infrastructure. Led by Mihai Marcuta, CEO & Co-Founder of NodeShift, the “Sovereign AI Cloud” workshop explored how organizations can develop AI systems on infrastructure that protects data ownership and reduces dependence on external providers.
The topic resonated widely, offering timely insights for founders, developers, and institutions working at the intersection of technology, trust, and autonomy.
Community Stand
Completing the experience was the Community Stand - a central point where Moldova’s startup enablers - Technovator, Yep Moldova, XY Partners, Dreamups, ODA, Business Angels Moldova, Mozaic, and Startup Moldova - presented their programs and services. Throughout the summit, founders could meet directly with teams from accelerators, investment networks, and development agencies, gaining a clearer view of what’s available and how to access it.
This format was built with a clear purpose: to make the ecosystem more navigable, to reduce friction, and to reinforce a shared commitment to supporting Moldova’s founders — each enabler playing a role, connected by a common direction.
