2024 marked a defining chapter for Startup Moldova. As we look back, this report captures the scale of our collective achievements, the strength of our partnerships, and the momentum we’ve built across the ecosystem.

Throughout the year, Startup Moldova significantly expanded its programs and reach. Over 3,000 participants engaged in more than 50 events, over 100 startups received targeted support, and 340+ facilitated meetings connected founders with potential investors. Moldovan startups collectively raised $7.9 million, twice the amount secured in 2023, demonstrating increasing investor confidence in the local market.

The organization also reinforced Moldova’s presence on the international stage, leading delegations to major events such as VivaTech, Web Summit, and Startup World Cup, and strengthening collaboration with global accelerators, venture capital funds, and diaspora networks. These efforts not only increased visibility but also opened new pathways for investment, mentorship, and market access.

At the national level, Startup Moldova advanced several initiatives in support of digital transformation, legal and policy advocacy, and regional development, including the successful conclusion of the Digital Impact program in Cahul, supported by the European Union and other international partners.

At the heart of all this: the founders. Their ambition, resilience, and ideas continue to drive us forward.
